1924 Studebaker Big Six
/exposition/hall-of-20s-30s
The car comes from the state of Tennessee, from the town Loudon. The last owner is an old-timer collector and he knew where Ceske Budejovice was :) The car was ridden by his son, who according to available information works in nearby Knoxville, as a policeman. This model belongs among the most favorites models of the mark Studebaker and it is a smaller follower of a model Special SIX from the 1922, which you can see in our museum as well. Studebaker made a big progress on the bodywork designs during three years. In comparison to a carriage shape of the previous years is the body more compact, rounded and in its time you can say even pioneering. The Studebaker had a strong image of a modern cars and the model SIX which you can have a look at is its evidence.
