All imported cars undergo an inspection, throughful clean-up as they come in contact with salt on their way across the ocean. Of course, with each and every car goes complete document folder with regards to customs. Below you can see the actual offer of our museum.
1969 Buick Riviera
The car comes from Kimberling, Missouri. The previous owner was a young fellow who had been looking after it and it wasn’t easy for him to part with it. Maybe that’s why he took it for his wedding displaying the obligatory “JUST MARRIED” sign. A great number of Rivieras were since the first model were a pride of the Buick company. Their higher engine performance and good looking two-door body appealed to younger customers. The Riviera in this model introduced many new features such as hidden wipers, seat belts complying with new safety regulations and revamped engine. More rigid parts of body-work were used as well which nowadays is a way of increasing passive safety of automobiles. The showcased Riviera has a well preserved interior and the overall condition is on a decent level. The colour code matches what was you could order between the years 1968-1969.
